Dooks Golf Links

Golf has been played at Dooks since 1889, which makes it one of the oldest Golf Links in Ireland. The course later extended to 18 holes in the 1970s under the watchful eye of Eddie Hackett. While not exposed as many of the other Irish courses, Dooks features an amazing variety of gorse, heather and wild flowers. The ever-present "gentle" wind help golfers to experience traditional links at its very best with narrow, sandy fairways and well contoured greens.
